Secret 7”
Celeste ‘Stop This Flame’
My album cover artwork was selected for the 2024 Secret 7” competition. It was printed, pressed and auctioned off, in aid of the charity War Child. The sleeve was exhibited at the NOW Gallery in London from March 2nd - 17th 2024 alongside a stellar line up of designers and agencies.
The track ‘Stop this Flame‘ instantly inspired me: the groove, rhythm and beat continuing through the song is so catchy and sent me into a trance. The beat is strong and fast, and it feels like it will continue on and on.
To reflect these feelings and the everlasting heartbeat of the song, I designed a vortex of colour. The rhythm and sound of this track also reminded me of a warm summer, which inspired my choice of colours.
As a designer I’m intrigued by design that has layers of interaction and so I developed this imagery into motion graphics too (see below for video).
